The sofa by Josef Hoffmann is provided with a dimensionally stable upholstery, covered with leather and shows by a special sewing technique numerous squares, which form to a general picture. The basic structure consists of beech wood. The purely geometric form of this Hoffman design was also a pioneer of Cubism, which reached its high phase at the beginning of the 20th century.
